Resonance & MDS School Students Creates History for Udaipur
Students of Resonance and MDS Sr. Sec. School, Udaipur have again created history for Udaipur by fetching success in the First Stage of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY – 2012 Stage-1). Out of 16 total selections from Resonance, 11 students are part of Integrated Classroom Contact Programme being offered for IIT-JEE preparation by Resonance and MDS Sr. Sec. School, Udaipur. All these students are studying in Class XI and XII..
From the MDS-Resonance Integrated programme, ARPIT JAIN, KAVISH BHATIJA, KUSHAL BABEL, SIDDHARTH AGARWAL from Class XI and ANKUR AGRAWAL, HARDIK SETH, ISHIT MURDIA, KRITI JOSHI, MRINAL TAK, ROOPAL BHATNAGAR, SAKSHI BABEL, SARWAR HUSSAIN from Class XII have cleared first Stage.
Apart from these students, two more students from MDS Sr. Sec. School Udaipur, SUJAY GUPTA & KARTIKEY MATHUR and KARTIKEY SAINI, VASEEM AEHMAD, CHINMAY MAHESHWARI, PALLAV JAIN of Resonance have also cleared Stage-1 & have become eligible for Interview stage.
Arun Shrimali, the Resonance Center Manager informed that the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Program of Fellowships in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and examination is conducted by Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru in two Stages first of which is a written test followed by Interview. Students from Class XI & Class XII have been selected for the fellowship which varies from Rs. 4000/- to 7000/- per month along with annual contingency grant of Rs. 16000/- to Rs. 28000/-. The first stage of this examination which was a written test conducted on 4th November, 2012. All these students will be undergoing a Mock-Interview Drills so as to prepare them for the upcoming Interview Stage.
The Principal of the school Dr. Nidhi Maheshwari informed that the school is doing its best to inculcate the modern way to teaching keeping intact the spirit of Indian Culture. “Class XI and XII students start their day with a prayer which helps them to build their concentration”, says Dr. Nidhi Maheshwari, who has done her Doctorate in Child Psychology in Modern Era.
As told by Dr. Shailendra Somani, the Director of MDS Sr. Sec. School, “the students of the school have been continuously proving their efficiency at the National Level and International Level and are doing remarkably well. “This is incredible achievement by the students of the school. All XI and XII students are doing a very sincere justice with their academic abilities so far,” said Dr. Shailendra Somani. He further said,” We will be more than happy if we contribute in producing more students who can become even better human beings and serve the Indian society in one way or another”.
