- 11 new MoUs expand the park’s pipeline of prospective manufacturing and industrial partners
- Proposed ecosystem to enable MSME participation with investment opportunities starting from ₹5 crore
- RIICO-backed industrial infrastructure and assured metal access to support downstream value addition and local employment
Udaipur : Hindustan Zinc Limited (BSE: 500188 | NSE: HINDZINC), the world’s largest integrated zinc producer and among the world’s top ten silver producers, has signed 11 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) at the ZnAL Confluence, 2026 held in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The MoUs were signed with industry partners for its proposed Zinc Industrial Park at Khankhala, Bhilwara district, Rajasthan. These partnerships mark an important step towards developing a dedicated downstream zinc manufacturing ecosystem, bringing together companies across manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure and allied industries to strengthen domestic value addition.
The MoUs were signed with Gainwell Commosales Private Limited, Epiroc Mining India Private Limited, Sai Deepa Rock Drills Pvt Ltd, Shree Nakoda Infrasteel Pvt Ltd, Suryakiran Earthmovers Pvt. Ltd, J.G. Chemicals Limited, EPCM Service & Supply Pvt Ltd, Jasta Alloys Private Limited, Jammu Pigments, and Ampex Energies Pvt Ltd. Under the MoUs, the partners have expressed their intent to establish manufacturing, engineering and service operations at the proposed Park, linked to zinc-based and allied value chains where Hindustan Zinc will extend ecosystem support to the proposed operations. This represents an important step towards converting the Industrial Park vision into potential investments, downstream manufacturing capacity and a broader zinc-based industrial ecosystem in Rajasthan.
The signings build on earlier MoUs for the Park with Tripura Group, CMR Green Technologies Ltd., Group Nirmal and SulfozymeAgro India Pvt. Ltd. Together, these agreements reflect growing industry interest, with a widening mix of manufacturers, service providers and technology-led enterprises.
Speaking on the development, Mr. Amarendu Prakash, CEO and Whole-time Director, Hindustan Zinc, said, “Zinc Park is a strategic initiative that reflects our long-term vision of building a globally competitive downstream ecosystem for zinc-based industries in India. The growing confidence of industry partners, across manufacturing, engineering and services, shows the strength of the proposition. Through assured ecosystem support, renewable energy integration and strong collaborations, we aim to enable MSME growth, create local employment and strengthen domestic manufacturing.”
The Zinc Park proposal was first announced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, alongside Vedanta Group Chairman Shri Anil Agarwal, at the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit in December 2024. Developed in collaboration with the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO), it is a dedicated downstream manufacturing hub designed to integrate raw material availability with value-added zinc production.
The strong investor interest further underscores the robust demand for an integrated industrial ecosystem, reinforcing the strategic rationale for Zinc Park. The initiative embodies the forward‑looking vision of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan and the Chairman of Vedanta, with the objective of establishing the state as a leading hub for advanced and sustainable industrial development
The Park aims to offer developed industrial land supported by RIICO, access to an earmarked share of Hindustan Zinc’s metal output, and access to the company’s Centre of Excellence and R&D capabilities for product development and alloy innovation. It is designed to enable participation by MSMEs and entrepreneurs, including businesses with initial investments starting from ₹5 crore.
Strategically located near Hindustan Zinc’s operations at Chanderiya, Dariba and Debari, the Park is expected to attract investments across galvanising, die-casting, zinc alloys, zinc oxide, wire and advanced zinc applications, supporting industrial growth, employment generation and regional economic development in Rajasthan. Hindustan Zinc continues its consultations with potential investors and stakeholders to scale up the Park in a phased manner.
