Udaipur : HDFC Bank, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, has launched the Parivartan Skill Academy in Jaipur in partnership with the Ambuja Foundation.
The newly inaugurated academy will offer four National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF)-aligned courses: Unarmed Security Guard, Associate Data Analyst, Advanced General Duty Assistant, and Business Correspondent & Business Facilitator. With the capacity to train 960 young individuals annually, the academy is designed to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals across diverse sectors. A minimum placement goal of 70% has been set, with strong ties established through over 30 industry partners and active coordination with the Jaipur Employment Office.
The initiative places emphasis on equitable access to skilling. Special outreach will focus on engaging young women, particularly from girls’ schools, colleges, and marginalised communities, to ensure a balanced and inclusive participation.
The training centre is supported by qualified trainers with expertise in domain knowledge, information technology, and essential soft skills. The curriculum is designed to be practical, market-relevant, and future-oriented, thereby helping bridge the skills gap and support economic resilience.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Shri Avinash Gehlot, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of Rajasthan. Mr. Vijay Maheshwari, SVP, HDFC Bank, and Ms. Sunita Shiv Kumar, Project Manager, HDFC Bank while Mr. Manoj Agarwal, General Manager, and Mr. Vishnu Prasad Sharma, Cluster Head of Ambuja Foundation were also present.

By investing in skill development in partnership with trusted institutions like the Ambuja Foundation, we hope to contribute meaningfully to the aspirations of young Indians and the economic development of Rajasthan.”

HDFC Bank has already skilled over 7.2 lakh individuals across India since the inception of the Bank’s CSR programme Parivartan. The Bank currently has over 70 active projects in the area of Skill Development across different states, covering multiple sectors including IT/ITeS, retail, healthcare, manufacturing and agriculture.
