Udaipur : HDFC Bank Part-Time Chairman and Additional Independent Director Rajiv Kumar addressed the bank’s 32nd Annual General Meeting on August 5, 2026, highlighting its strong financial performance, governance framework and future growth strategy.


Kumar said HDFC Bank’s profit after tax (PAT) grew 10.9% to ₹74,671.3 crore in FY2025-26. Advances rose 12.1% to ₹29.37 lakh crore, while deposits increased 14.4% to ₹31.05 lakh crore.
He said the bank will continue to focus on customer service, deposit growth, retail and MSME lending, technology modernisation and maintaining strong asset quality. HDFC Bank is also expanding the use of Generative AI (GenAI) through its in-house AI platform Neev to improve digital services and employee productivity.
On governance, Kumar reiterated the bank’s “zero tolerance” approach towards unethical practices and policy violations. He said HDFC Bank remains fundamentally strong, with robust control systems and no systemic governance concerns.
Kumar also thanked the bank’s shareholders, customers and employees for their continued trust and said HDFC Bank is well positioned to deliver stronger business outcomes in the years ahead.
