Udaipur : Hindustan Zinc, India’s only and among world’s largest integrated zinc-lead-silver producerhasintroduced 2 new courses under Skill Development initiatives, with this program Hindustan Zinc has mobilized 120students of nearby panchayats with their implementation partner Birla Open Minds, by providing them free training in discipline likes Electrical Maintenance and food & Beverages, as a responsible corporate Hindustan Zinc contributes towards the development of the country by skilling their local community youth in various functions.
“With free skill development training we can help youth to get ready for job interviews and make them self-sufficient to reduce their expenses and increase their income” said Lalu Ram – Mahamantri, Zawar Mazdoor Sang.

Zinc Kaushal Kendraan initiative started by Hindustan Zincwith an aim to offer short-duration intensive courses in different trades like Assistant Electrician, Microfinance Executive, Unarmed Security Guard, General Duty Assistant, Retail Sales Executive, etc. The centre helps and prepares the youth for entering into the job market and self-employment opportunities which willhelp them to earn their livelihood and later make concrete and positive difference in their lives.
This program is inaugurated in the gracious presence of Mr. Kishor Kumar – SBU Director, Zawar Mines; Mr. Lalu Ram – Mahamantri, Zawar Mazdoor Sang; Mr. Naga Ram – Union padadhikari, Nevatalai Sarpanch; Mr. Kishan Lal Meena – Bhaladiya sarpanch pratinidhi; Mr. Dhul Chand Meena & Mr. Kesu Lal Meena – panchayat samiti sadasya.
