Artists with Disabilities to Perform Live at Nexus Select Malls in Chandigarh, Amritsar, Udaipur, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar
Udaipur : Atypical Advantage, India’s largest livelihood platform for Persons with Disabilities, partners with Nexus Select Malls to Celebrate Independence Day with inclusive events. Nexus Select Malls to host Live Performances by exceptionally talented Artists with Disabilities across eight cities, including Chandigarh, Amritsar, Udaipur, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar.
The performances will showcase the artist’s remarkable skills while singing, playing musical instruments, dancing, and painting. The malls in the Nexus portfolio will transform into vibrant stages where shoppers and visitors can engage with the artistic expressions of these talented individuals. This initiative not only highlights the commitment of both organizations to promote inclusivity but also reassures the audience of their support for voices often left unheard.
Musical Waves, an incredibly talented 3-piece band led by a remarkable vocalist who has captivated audiences with Sufi, Ghazals, devotional bhajans, and Bollywood songs, performed at Nexus Elante in Chandigarh. Meanwhile, Resham Talwar, a professional singer trained in Indian classical music, delivered a mesmerizing performance at the Nexus Amritsar. These performances, which began on the 10th of August, will continue until the 18th of August. The artists will perform live on August 15th at Nexus Koramangala in Bangalore, Nexus Seawoods in Navi Mumbai, and Nexus Hyderabad, followed by performances at Nexus Shantiniketan in Bangalore on August 17th and Nexus Whitefield in Bangalore on August 18th.
