Udaipur :Hindustan Zinc, the world’s largest integrated zinc producers globally and a Vedanta Group company, in association with Zawar Mines Mazdoor Sangh, inaugurates the 46th edition of the Mohan Kumar Mangalam (MKM) Football Tournament at the MKM Stadium in Zawar, Rajasthan today. Spanning from January 24 to February 02, the tournament brings together 12 teams from across the country, promising an action-packed showcase of skill, teamwork, and football passion. This long-standing tournament continues to serve as a platform for competitive football while deepening the sport’s roots in the region.

The tournament was inaugurated by professional Indian footballer Arindam Bhattacharya, with, Operations Head, Zawar Group of Mines Radha Raman, MKM Secretary Puneet Bordiaand MKM Coordinator Parvez Pathan, Organizing Committee Secretary Lalu Ram Meena, Naga Ram Kharadi, Subrato Das, CT Premnath also in attendance.

This year’s edition features a powerful line-up of teams including Hindustan Zinc XI, Kashmir United Football Club (Kashmir), Ram Mohammed Singh Azad Football Club (Punjab), Central Secretariat (Delhi), BSF (West Bengal), RT Boys Football Club (Hyderabad), Income Tax Football Club (Ahmedabad), Doon Star Football Club (Dehradun), DFA Udaipur, Rajasthan Police, Rever De Sporting Club (Sikkim), and KSEB (Kerala). The MKM Tournament opened with an exciting inaugural match between Doon Star Football Club (Dehradun) and Rajasthan Police with teams from across India, the tournament promises thrilling games that highlight competition, unity, and sportsmanship.
