Udaipur : Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), a joint venture of PSUs under the Ministry of Power, and RajCOMP Info Services Limited (RISL), an entity under the Department of Information Technology & Communications (DOIT&C), Government of Rajasthan, are driving a key energy efficiency initiative in Rajasthan. EESL and RISL have collaborated to leverage the extensive e-Mitra network to promote energy-efficient solutions and enhance public service delivery across Rajasthan.
With a vast network of 75,0000 e-Mitras spanning across the state, serves as a powerful medium to deliver EESL’s energy-efficient solutions to even the most remote corners of the state, ensuring that these products and solutions are accessible to everyone. This innovative model of e-Mitra network can transform the energy efficiency journey of the country.
Under this transformative initiative, EESL is bringing its range of energy-efficient appliances to the people of Rajasthan, including BEE 5-star BLDC fans, BEE 5-star air conditioners, induction cooktops, BEE 5-star 6W LED bulbs, and LED integrated batten tube lights. These products, currently available at EESLMart.in,are also being offered through eMitracenters. This is being done to increase availability and real time experience of EESL’s energy efficient products.With most of the population now digital savvy, EESL and RISL aim to simplify the purchasing process via various initiatives such asaffiliate marketing,making it easier for consumers to explore and adopt energy-efficient products.
By adopting these appliances, households can achieve substantial savings on electricity bills,easing their financial burden while benefiting from superior product performance.Furthermore, the shift to energy-efficient appliances contributes to environmental conservation by reducing energy consumption and lowering carbon emissions and contributing to India’s target of Net Zero emission by 2070.
