Udaipur : Ather Energy, India’s leading electric scooter manufacturer, today opened its new experience centre in Ashok Nagar, Udaipur, in association with Akhand Distributors.This is the brand’s second retail outlet in the state, after Jaipur. The newly launched Gen 3 of the flagship Ather 450X and 450 Plus will be available to test ride and purchase at Ather Space.
Ather Space is well equipped to provide a unique ownership experience along with complete service and support for the owners. The new Experience Centre is a dynamic, tactile, and interactive space that aims to educate customers about every aspect of the vehicle and provide a complete overview of the various parts with a striped-bare unit on display. Consumers in Udaipur can now ride the Ather 450X and get an in-depth view of the product and its features before purchasing the vehicle. They can also book test ride slots on Ather Energy’s website prior to visiting the experience centre.

Ather Energy is one of the few OEMs that invests in charging infrastructure as well. There are currently 2 Ather Grids, Ather’s fast charging network, in Udaipur.The company plans to add 8–10 more across the city to strengthen the charging network. Ather Energy also supports customers with the installation of home charging systems in their flats and buildings.
The Ather 450 series scooters are the result of excellent design philosophy, engineering, and research and development, making them the most comprehensive, safe, and dependable scooters in the country. It was designed and developed in-house to specifically suit Indian situations and use standards. With a larger battery pack of 3.7 kWh, broader rear-view mirrors, and wider tyres, the new Ather Gen 3 electric scooters provide improved performance. The enhanced TrueRange of the new Ather 450X Gen 3 and 450Plus Gen 3 is 105 km and 85 km, respectively. The scooter also has a 7.0-inch touchscreen interface, front and rear disc brakes with regen, 12-inch alloy wheels, telescopic suspension, and belt drive system.
The 450X Gen 3 is priced at INR 1,46,471 and the 450 Plus will be priced at INR1,24,961, (ex-showroom) following the Fame II revisions.
